Wills & Living Trusts For many people, making a gift through your will (or through a codicil to your existing will) is the easiest way to make a substantial gift that will support our mission for years to come. Whatever form of bequest you choose, it is not subject to estate or inheritance taxes and so significantly reduces the tax burden of your estate. The value of the bequest may be deducted when the taxable estate is determined, and there is no limit to the deduction. You can make a bequest to a charitable organization through your will or living trust in the following ways:
