Production Support

WFIU's radio programs reach more than 45,000 of Indiana’s most educated and affluent listeners.  Some of our programs are nationally syndicated and have an even greater audience draw. By supporting WFIU through Production Support, your business can reach this important group with on-air mission-driven marketing messages, associating the programs they chose to listen to with your company or organization. Your message is embedded into the program and follows it wherever it airs!

You’ll receive:

  • 3 messages of 15-20 seconds embedded in each one-hour program.
  • These programs are usually archived in perpetuity online for interested listeners.
  • A mention in each promo spot produced. In the WFIU listening area, these spots run about 10 times per week throughout the schedule.
  • For nationally syndicated show such as Harmonia, you’ll reach a national audience.

Details may differ somewhat with the format of each show. Possibilities for production support include:

Syndicated Programs:

  • Harmonia (175 stations around the country)
  • A Moment of Science (75 stations in the U.S., Armed Services Network in Europe, and podcast through NPR!
  • After Glow (three stations in Indiana, including our translators in Terre Haute, Columbus, and Kokomo – and coming to French Lick and Greensburg.
  • Movie Reviews with Peter Noble-Kuchera (Now podcast through iTunes!)

Local programs:

  • Earth Note
  • Indiana History Moments
  • Night Lights
  • Ether Game
  • Profiles
  • Congressional Moments
  • Focus on Flowers
  • Many others!
