Host and Producer Tom
Roznowski "Billboard Magazine" describes
Singer-Songwriter Tom Roznowski as "part beat, part zoot suit, part Mark Twain, with
a lyrical grasp of Americana both wry and sensitive." Academically trained in urban
history, Roznowski's fascination with the field often punctuates his songs and creative
projects.
His essays on Terre Haute, Indiana initially appeared on his radio series, Blue Sunday,
which received an award from the "Bloomington Voice" for most popular radio
program. Now Tom Roznowski has created a new series for WFIU: Hometown with Tom Roznowski.
Join him every Saturday night at 8 following A Prairie Home Companion. Hometown is
supported by an Indiana Heritage Research Grant, a joint effort of the Indiana Historical
Society and the Indiana Humanities Council.
